We are a small studio based in Bracebridge, Ontario (and conveniently on the 45th parallel!), and are the driving force behind the Tondakea series. We have carefully crafted and evolved our work over the past twelve months, in a never-ending cycle of learning, teaching, application, rinse and repeat. Our small animation studio has come out of the time and hard work spent at Six Degrees Muskoka, a unique seasonal art gallery based in downtown Bracebridge, and founded by Don and Jen Skinner. We have been able to use the success of our past two seasons - the summer months of 2009 and 2010 - to shed light on more active and interactive mediums of art in the Muskoka area. So who are we really? |

Big Bee - Don Skinner |
|---|---|
| As the creative genius behind the Tondakea series, Don knew a locally produced animation -- based on two boys and their updated version of a magic carpet -- had the wings to take off! As an Architect and developer by day, the inspiration from renovating century old buildings came to life as backdrops and locations for this 'locally grown' series. |

Queen Bee - Jen Skinner |
|---|---|
| Mom to Indigo and Jasper, head cheerleader and "Queen Bee" of the studio, Jen couldn't draw to save her life but she can visualize and vocalize what she wants in an episode and on line and fortunately, the rest of the team takes care of it! As the voice for Elizabeth, Mom, NASA Tour Guide and countdown-er, she has fun helping to bring characters to life. |

Kyle joined us in the summer of 2010, after spending some time at York University in the Fine Arts Film Studies department. He is tasked with the post-production and promotion of our flagship cartoon series, as well as assisting with animation courses at Pixels on the Parallel. |

| Zander is a writer and self-taught multi-instrumentalist, always composing awesome music for Tondakea, as well as directing all of the voice acting. He teamed up with Pixels on the Parallel in the summer of 2010 to help bring our vision to life! |
Both Anne and Emily have helped teach our animation courses the past two summers, with more than 300 students passing through our doors since 2009. They have provided much support to the Tondakea series with their witty writing and voice acting. |
